Overview
Elphinstone Reef is one of the Red Sea’s most legendary advanced dive sites, world-renowned for its dramatic vertical walls, shifting currents, and thrilling encounters with large pelagic marine life. This is a true Advanced scuba diving experience, combining deep reef-wall exploration, adrenaline-filled drift diving, and the possibility of encountering Oceanic Whitetip Sharks (Longimanus), hammerheads, grey reef sharks, giant tuna, and eagle rays.

Itinerary
Hotel Pickup — Around 6:00 AM
Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Hermes Marina.
Hermes Marina — 6:30 AM
Arrive at the marina, meet your PADI/SSI instructor and dive team, and prepare your gear.
Speedboat Departure
Board our fast speedboat and depart toward Elphinstone Reef (~20–25 minutes transit).
Equipment Setup & Dive Briefing
Set up your diving equipment onboard and receive a comprehensive safety briefing covering currents, drift procedures, and shark interaction guidelines.
Dive 1 — Elphinstone Reef
Your first guided Advanced dive on a selected section of the reef wall, optimized for current conditions.
Surface Interval & Refreshments
Relax on the speedboat, enjoy fresh water, cold drinks, and snacks, while reviewing your first dive profile with your instructor.
Dive 2 — Reef Wall & Blue Water
Your second guided Advanced dive exploring another section of Elphinstone’s dramatic drop-offs or opposite plateau.
Return to Hermes Marina — Around 11:00 AM
Return by speedboat to the marina after completing your advanced dives.
Hotel Drop-off — Around 11:30 AM
Transfer safely back to your hotel with the rest of your afternoon free.
